Leaktite Team Members,
On Monday, March 23rd Governor Baker announced a shelter in place order for the state of Massachusetts. The order requires that all non-essential business close effective Tuesday, March 24th at noon. Leaktite will not be closing at this time as the business qualifies as essential.
Upon reviewing the executive order with our legal team and speaking with customers it has been determined that Leaktite qualifies as an essential business. Massachusetts and other states have identified that Hardware Retailers (Ace Hardware and Home Depot) as essential places of business and all suppliers who service these stores are also deemed essential. In addition to the retailers, Leaktite manufactures products utilized in the act or cleaning and disinfecting which are important to the limiting of the spread of COVID-19.
Health and Safety remains Leaktite’s number one concern. Leaktite will continue to ensure that we are following a robust cleaning routine and required social distancing. Until further notice we are asking all employees to continue to show up for their assigned shifts and proactively communicate, via phone, text, or email, to your designated supervisor all health or family related issues.
